Sonic has defeated Pure Chaos,the god of war and destruction.He has destroyed the Eclipse Canon on Space Colony ARK.What else is there left to do for our favourite blue hedgehog?Well,unbeknownst to him,a mindblowing adventure awaits him ahead.An adventure to end all adventures....
After defeating Eggman yet again and foiling his recent scheme,Sonic and co. are suddenly visited by a weird hedgehog named Silver.Explaining himself,he begs our heroes to come with him to his time - 50 years in the future - to stop a maniacal Eggman from ruling over Mobius with his new machines and devices.As they go with him to his time,he later reveales tom them that the Sonic(as well as his friends)of his time have all but perished under Eggman's insurmountable machines and that he's the only one left from his resistance group.Fueled by the desire to stop Egghead and craving for more action,Sonic embarks on a new journey with his friends,to forever stop the menace of the Eggman Empire.Unknown to them,Future Eggman has unlocked a power,far beyond the understandings of anyone.It's purpose - anyone's guess....
Shadow the Hedgehog,now a G.U.N. agent,along with his partners Rouge the Bat and Omega E-123,pursue Eggman in an intent to capture him and bring him to goverment custody.The chase lasts for days and for some odd reason,Shadow's fake emerald loses it's power.On their way,they meet a strange creature that names itself Mephiles.The creature orders the trio to surrender,but Shadow and co. don't take Mephiles seriously and continue their chase for Eggman.Cornering the villain,they are soon called off by G.U.N. to return to Station Square,where a shadow-y creature is causing destruction across the city.As they reach the city,they identify the creature as Mephiles himself!With this new menace proving to be far more powerfull than anyone they ever faced,they struggle to push off Mephiles and his dark minions back,hoping to annihilate him,once and for all...
Silver the Hedgehog never knew his past.All he knows,is that when he was born,he came to a world of ruin and despair.Whoever raised him - anyone's guess.By the time he was 16,he was completely alone.Until he met Blaze the Cat,the other solve survivor in the desolate burning ruins.She explains to Silver that her dimension and this one were merged into one,due to the Negative Calamity caused by the Chaos emeralds,rendering them useless.Understanding the reason for the world being miserable,Silver sets out not only to make things right,but to find out his past as well.However,over the course of his adventure,an accidental time rift sends him back 50 years - to the time of Eggman's uprising.Knowing that there's is no alternative to getting back home,he helps out Sonic and his resistance to fight back Eggman's forces and retrieve the Chaos Emeralds - in order to travel back to his time - to 100 years in the future.
Combining the speed of Sonic,fast-paced combat of Shadow and platform-puzzles of Silver,this game is an all around package,delivering the biggest adventure to date.With solid graphics,splendind soundtrack and a great story,this will sure be the Sonic game to remember.
